The Bends
Where do we go from here?
The words are coming out all weird
Where are you now, when I need you
Alone on an aeroplane
Fall asleep on against the window pane
My blood will thicken
I need to wash myself again to hide all the dirt and pain
'Cause I'd be scared that there's nothing underneath
But who are my real friends?
Have they all got the bends?
Am I really sinking this low?
I wish it was the sixties,
I wish I could be happy
I wish, I wish, I wish that something would happen
I wanna live, breathe
I wanna be part of the human race
I wanna live, breathe
I wanna be part of the human race, race, race, race
My baby's got the bends
We don't have any real friends
The words are coming out all weird
Where are you now, when I need you
Alone on an aeroplane
Fall asleep on against the window pane
My blood will thicken
I need to wash myself again to hide all the dirt and pain
'Cause I'd be scared that there's nothing underneath
But who are my real friends?

Auld Lang Syne
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And days of auld lang syne
And there's a hand, my trusty friend
And gie's a hand to thine
We'll take a cup of kindness yet
For auld lang syne
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll take a cup of kindness yet
For auld lang syne
And never brought to mind
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And days of auld lang syne

We'll take a cup of kindness yet

Epilogue: 2007
It's the time of the year where we bid adieu to 2007 & welcome 2008.
I have to say 2007 ended rather on a morbid manner as I lost my good friend, Sonny, in August. No doubt many friends of mine told me to move on, cheer up etc, I still feel that I am stuck in that moment. Does it mean I have not accepted it? How should I move on?
However, God sure moves in a mysterious way. I lost a friend & I gained a friend. I am honoured and blessed that I got to know Ben. I have to admit that we met each other in a unusual circumstance .... he is actually my financial planner through MSN. The strangest thing is we share the same birthday!!! Ain't that cool??? We are so gonna have a combine birthday party next year!
I also have to thank God that friends we lost contact during school days have been rekindled. Though they have not changed much, I must say thier lifestyle had. I love them for not what they are but who they are & the love that encompasses each one of us.
I think 2007 was a year of friendship. I made many friends throughout this year. I want to say a big shoutout to P&G SIN MDO. Thank you for the cool times over there. The gossips, the jokes & laughther during lunchtime, the free flow of Dynamo, Olay, Pringles, Gillette & of course not forgetting SKII. You guys showed & proven to me that we can still & always have fun at work! I so miss working with you guys!
To end this last entry of the year, I would like to thank God who had safeguarded me this year. Letting me wake up everyday to enjoy the sun, the clouds & the love He has surrounded me with. I would like to thank my posse, Kenneth, my big sister Veronica, my bro Alan, who have & always be at my side. Brian, my big bro. The person who I think will not hesitate to slap me hard if I ever screw up & always at the end of the race waiting for me. Last but not least, thank you Sonny for your love, your friendship, your kindness, your gung-ho spirit, your strife for perfection. 27 years of friendship did not end together with your demise. It will always stay in my heart.
I loves, hearts you all!!!!!

Letter to a Friend
Hi Sonny,
I am fighting back the tears as I write this letter to you.
It's been a long time since you left us. Though it has been 4 months but it seems such a long long time. How are you doing over there? I believe you are playing wonderful music which you are so good at while you were still with us. I know you are under the wings of the good Lord so we are very happy!!
We have changed. Characters, perspectives & relationships. In what way I don't really know but Alan & I felt that we do not have that sparkle in each other eyes anymore. As you know, the eyes are the windows to the soul. We have lost a part of us which I hope we can find back. If not, maybe it is meant to be. Disheartened we will be but it's the facets of life.
I have to apologise that I did not cry during your funeral. I had to be strong. We had to be strong. To be honest, I have not stop crying. I do not know when I will stop. The hurt, the pain & the sadness is still too much for me to bear. Every thing we talk, see & listen still remind us of you. We really miss you so much & I know you miss us too!
Do watch over & protect us with the Lord above.
We talk again .......... Wish you A Merry X'mas & A Happy New Year
With boundless love
Alvin

Bernard & Iris Wedding - Part 3
Every wedding alway end with a nice bout of 'sabo-ing' the wedding couple. Well theirs' were no exception ..
We didn't exactly gatecrash their room, we just needed a place to crash after a hard day's work. Brought my trusty SLR camera along to capture some silly moments.
Testing out the self timer function
Shiny Happy People
