In the End

"In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies,

but the silence of our friends"

The Long & Winding Road

The long and winding road
That leads to your door
Will never disappear
I've seen that road before
It always leads me here
Lead me to your door

The wild and windy night
That the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears
Crying for the day
Why leave me standing here

Let me know the way
Many times I've been alone
And many times Ive cried
Any way you'll never know
The many ways I've tried

Can't Hold On

Someone cries and it washes the street with tears
But when they are mine, they collect in my head for years
Rain or shine, still I'm standing on all I said'
Cause it's in my soul, carry on when the feeling's dead

Someone dies late at night and I never know
And even if I did, so afraid of the face I'd show
I feel trapped and enslaved to this dark contrast
Need a feeling now, give me something that's going to last

Enjoy the Silence

Vows are spoken
To be broken
Feelings are intense
Words are trivial
Pleasures remain
So does the pain
Words are meaningless
And forgettable

How Men Are

Perspective
It's no mystery
What you don't know always gets you
It will hurt you and desert you
So you'd better see
That it's a damage ever done by degrees
And some will take eternity to believe

'Cos love is a giving with no need of return
It lends itself to everything
And maybe one day man will see
That love is a lesson money never taught us to learn
Love is the power to act
Without the premise that there's nothing for free

And sometimes when we're just getting by and getting along
It's like we're scared to see that something is wrong

Let the Bitaches Unite

I went to a gathering that took not 16 mins, not 16 weeks, not 16 mths but 16 years to organise. The changes that took 16 years to say, see & bitch were all worth it!!! The dinner took place @ NUS Guild House @ Suntec City. It was rather 'atas' place thank goodness I wore a jacket over my T-shirt if not I will be wearing a hideous flowery "I love Haiwaii" shirt like what Kevin made to wear. Hahaha... no pics on that though. Ok Ok ....... pics pics pics time

Mum: When is Good Friday?
Me: 21 March
Mum: I see....Is it a Monday or a Tuesday?
Me: .............
